Update and thanks. Completed the 500 mile trip w/o incident. Great advise on the winds - if they are coming from the south (blowing “up lake” from south to north) there will be stacked swells 4 - 5ft and if wind is over 10 knots, white caps on the swells. Good idea to hold up for a day or two...

I think so… if I am reading the tables right… it looks like the Chicago river is down 1.8 feet

Currently on the way down to Chicago; I know the bridge hight limits are 17 and 19 for Chicago river and Cal Sag respectively… does any one know if the river levels are low, high or normal this week June 1 or 2?
