Problem solved. It was a broken ground wire between the two tachs on the upper station. The ground is not show on the drawing, I noticed when I took them off to get at the back to remove the tach.

I have a 1982 Californian with Perkins engines. The Tach for the port engine on the fly bridge did not work the first time I took the boat out this season. It works on the lower station and there do not appear to be any loose connections. Any suggestions?

Water tank I have an 1982 34 and the water tank is in the centerline between the engines. The fill is on the aft deck. The fuel tanks are on each side aft of the engines.

Can you send details of the leg suport you added?

I put in teak floors. I used square tiles from a lumber yard. I'll see if I can post a picture. I also have a radar mast to which I added a spreader for flag halyards.

I have an 1982 and the rudders are rectangular.
