So loosen counterclockwise then tighten clockwise? It gets tight clockwise and works but only for a short time.

The chain/rode rolls out and I cannot stop it. . I tighten I assume the clutch with the star wrench that comes with the unit as tight as possible. It helps operate it one time then it it looses tension and needs to be tightened again. I have the manuals but have not been inside of one of...
