    Duty free Fuel

    As a U.K. Citizen, if I purchase a US registered boat and whilst the vessel is in US waters change the flag to Panamanian. Can I buy dutyfree fuel whilst in US? And will I be allowed to keep the boat in US waters? Thanks.

    My partner and I are about to sign on the dotted line for a 1988 AO390. With twin Vovlo's 71a. We have authorised a survey and oil analysis, the boat needs a full navigations upgrade. Is there anything else we should be aware of ?? :facepalm: The boats in Corfu at present. Charlie
