Has anyone had experience with this new watermaker or thoughts about it after reading their specs? Also, this system vs the Rainman system? Thanks.

    Hull Slap

We have a queen island berth forward and the waves slapping on the hull are annoying. Was thinking of spraying a can of car undercoating on the inside of the hull to deaden the sound. Has anyone tried this, or have other solutions? Thanks.

    Black Widow for props

I have not had luck with either PropGlide or PropSpeed on my props or running gear. They both have failed. It was suggested that I take the props back to bare metal, put on 2 coats of primer, and then use Petitt Black Widow bottom paint on the props. This is a very hard racing bottom paint...

    Hailing Port

We moved full time from Middle River, MD to Hutchinson Island, FL, and brought our 42' documented vessel to FL. We registered it in FL, and changed the hailing port on the transom to our new location. Now I believe I either have to pay a large fee to USCG to officially change the hailing port...

    Treasure Coast of FL

We have cruised the Chesapeake for over 35 years and always enjoyed all the places to explore. We've recently relocated to the Ft. Pierce area and hope to enjoy new adventures on our 42' cruiser with a 4.4' draft. Besides the Bahamas, where are your favorite cruising grounds for a 1 or 2 week...

I'd be interested in any suggestions or personal experiences as to how you managed this ailment while aboard. Also, how did you stock your galley and what...

    Hurley H3O

Has anyone had experience with this system, and what are your thoughts plus or minus. Our swim platform is 24" above the water, and having a way to crank up the dinghy might be handy. Thanks.

    Florida out-of-state reciprocity

Sorry if this has been covered before, but tried to do a search and couldn't find a link. Point me in the right direction is there are links. We're planning to leave this fall from Maryland for a trip down the ICW and spend several months in FL, living aboard our Sealine 420 Statesman. We are...

    Alum vs FRP RIB dinghy

In the market for a new RIB, lighter is better, and there seem to be a flood of new alum dinghys on the market. Any concerns with the alum pitting, painted or bare, etc? Always appreciate the wisdom and experience.of the members of this forum. Cheers for a wonderful new year.
