    Has anyone had to replace a fuel tank on a 39. Does the engine have to be removed?

    I am looking at a 2000, 39 and I am told by the broker that the port fuel tank has a leak that needs to be repaired. A friend had a 30 ft Mainship that also had a fuel tank issue. Are the fuel tanks on Mainships an issue in general?

    Hello I am interested in purchasing a 39 Mainship to do the Great loop. What issues should I look for when we do a survey, like leaks and soft spots in the fiberglass. From what I see online regardless of single power they all cruise at 12 knots. Is this true?
