I have a 500gpd I removed from my boat. Its an Aegean 500 model. I liveaboard in the Potomac River so I just never used it.

I have a Espar D12L diesel heater and use it when the water temp drops below 50deg and the rev/cycle heat no longer works. There are ducts in to each cabin and it keeps the boat warm all winter.

For sale - Aegean 500 GPD watermaker. I do not use it since i am living aboard in the Chesapeake bay. The system was working when pickled three years ago. Included is the main unit, saltwater pump, prefilters, after filter, remote panel, and manual. I am looking for $1000.00.

These tiles are not asebestos. They have an X pattern vice the random pattern or the evenly space pattern. My Albin trawler had the same type type and I have seen it in Grand Banks trawlers. It must have been common in the Taiwan shipyards. Lowes and Home Depot have large Acoustic ceiling tile...

Does anyone know a source for this acoustic tile in my engine room? I would like to replace a number of missing and damaged tiles, without having to retile both entire engine rooms. I have searched on google and cannot find a vendor. It seems to be a common tile in 70's and 80's boat engine...

I bought an old Remington 870 and powdercoated the barrel and receiver. Then replaced all the other parts with plastic, folding stock, pistol grip, flashlight. I store it in a PVC pipe with screw a screw on lid with a fishing pole. Its part of my "overboard" bag

I will always use copper wire in the future... The zip ties do not save time and do not look as good. We actually built two boats and the second one we used copper wire. The copper wire boat can go with out paint, the zip tie boat will be painted.

This was just built from plans and I bought all the plywood and epoxy locally. The kits are expensive for what you get. This is about $250 in material and 14 hours labor in 1 and 2 hour chunks. I changed the plans somewhat to add a double skeg, so that the boat sits upright and hopefully track...

Here is a picture of my 13' RIB being towed at 10 knots. I have it too close to the boat for a good tow setup. I generally haul it up on the top deck, but for short trips I sometimes tow it.

I installed the AGSAFE (http://www.agsafecamera.com) camera's for back up camera's and engine room camera's.* They are rugged, waterproof and 12vdc, built for large farm equipment.* The system was cheaper than the ones built specifically for boats.
