    Hints that you may be dealing with a Scammer:

    • Requires payment via Bank Transfer, BitCoin/CryptoCurrency, WesternUnion or other unsecured method.
    • Buyer or Seller suggests Paypal "Friends and Family" payment. Paypal is a good way to arrange payment but an invoice for goods and services should be used rather than "Friends and Family". "Friends and Family" avoids fees BUT there is no recourse if the transaction runs aground. Friends and Family is for gifts only. There is no protection for Friends and Family transactions, so never ever use it to buy something.
    • Declines to allow viewing the item before proceeding with the transaction.

Ford Lehman 120 manifold wanted to buy. Anyone out there have a FL-120 manifold for sale? Or know where I can purchase one in good condition? I am located in Florida, near Fort Myers, but any location would work with shipping. Helping a neighbor getting his boat running. Price would be negotiable depending on condition/location, etc. Thanks
 
Now curious, what is the reason a replacement is needed. They are fresh water cooled. Only the riser that introduces raw water seemed to be an issue when I had the twin Lehman's.

They usually rot out at the bottom of the flange where the mixing elbow connects to the manifold.

We've tried American Diesel. No luck. Bomar has one that is "usable, but really ugly, will probably last 3 to 5 years" is what he said.
The head he took off is damaged as stated above, and has been hela-coiled (badly).
He can't find anyone in the area who is willing to try welding it . . . . he can't even find anyone who can/will surface it! Seems all the new guys want to do is order new parts, the ones the computer tells them that are bad. Hard to find actual mechanics any more, let alone competent machinists. . . .
 
Bomar cleaned up the one they had, and decided it wasn't serviceable after all, but they found another one that, although marginal, should be okay for awhile . . . .
American Diesel said they have an order in to have at least 100 brand new ones made from scratch, but they are at least 1 year out. No idea of cost, or if they are all spoken for yet, but if you need one, or think you MAY need one, you might want to get on the list!
I've heard that good, serviceable manifolds will go for around $3,500 and up, plus shipping . . . . .
Here's hoping the one he has coming from Bomar is indeed serviceable . . . .
 
Try MESA Marine Exhaust Systems Alabama. They can build one of Stainless.
 
Unless you are obsessed with having a Lehman manifold then there are several other marine conversions for the Ford 2715 motor and I may be wrong but I'm fairly sure that Ford 2725 manifold may be the same (I would check that). I am sure it would be difficult fining a new one no matter which conversion but at least it gives you more to Google when searching for second hand. The Lees conversion out of New Zealand would be worth a try .
 
He found one that was rough but serviceable. On the boat and everything is well again. . . . well, almost everything, but that's another story . . . . Thanks for all the leads!

You could try this company: Thompson Foundry in British Columbia, Canada Marine Manifolds – Thompson Foundry
They had a manifold for a Perkins 6-354 I had in a previous boat at a fraction of the cost of a new one from the UK. There are plenty of Lehman's out here so they may be able to help you.
