Agree. Our shower drain had minimal slope to the top of the sump box. Removed the box and put a run dry Jabsco pump lower in the bilge. Problem solved.

We have a queen island berth forward and the waves slapping on the hull are annoying. Was thinking of spraying a can of car undercoating on the inside of the hull to deaden the sound. Has anyone tried this, or have other solutions? Thanks.

I have not had luck with either PropGlide or PropSpeed on my props or running gear. They both have failed. It was suggested that I take the props back to bare metal, put on 2 coats of primer, and then use Petitt Black Widow bottom paint on the props. This is a very hard racing bottom paint...

We moved full time from Middle River, MD to Hutchinson Island, FL, and brought our 42' documented vessel to FL. We registered it in FL, and changed the hailing port on the transom to our new location. Now I believe I either have to pay a large fee to USCG to officially change the hailing port...

My port engine exhaust hose closest to the engine developed a crack and needs replacement, about a 3' section. Do I need a plain hard hose or one with wire? It's a straight run to a metal turning piece and in a difficult spot to install.

Just a side note. I throw a hot tub bromine tablet in my strainers every other month and that seems to keep them cleaner.

We didn't have a lot of room, and wanted lighter weight on the transom. Purchased a 8.6' Inmar alum hulled RIB. Beam is only 5', and weighs 72 lbs. Have a 6hp Suzuki that gets us around nicely.
