    N44 is a N47 hull married to an N37 deck basically. Nothing was taken from the saloon, it leaves (mostly) everything the same forward of the aft pilothouse wall from an N37. The N37 of course has plenty of space for line handling but very little room on the aft deck for outdoor entertaining...
