Hi there. Does anyone have experience replacing the fuel tanks on the GB32? Could the old one be removed through the normal engine access hatches? Is there a production tank that fits in it's place?

I ordered the DA107 13.25 inch damper plate. When we took it all apart it turned out I have the DA103 8 inch damper plate. I think maybe the flywheel has been changed at some point from the original.

Thanks. I've ordered the Damper Plate and a Stage 6 kit also. Rebuild is no doubt overdue.

I have a 1974 GB32 with the Lehman 120hp and the AS3-71C Velvet Drive. Does anyone know the model number of the replacement Drive Damper Plate?

TOPLAC is specifically formulated for amateur application so is very forgiving.

I have just completed a US$25,000 total refit of my 1974 fibreglass GB32 hull # 530, including having the entire superstructure repainted. We used 1 coat International Prekote primer, then 3 coats International Toplac "Snow White", single pack. The guys rolled and brushed it. Fantastic result.

Is there any coating which will seal out the water from a teak deck short of painting it? Would Cetol or varnish seal off any small leaks or gaps in the caulking? Are there any other products that might work? I'm after a short term 1 season solution. Thanks.

What make and model is this? Twin 375hp Cummins, 45 feet, probably made in China. Island Gypsy?

1974 GB32 #530. One of the first fibreglass. What hull # was the first fibreglass? Were they molded with epoxy or polyester resin? Oil shock was in 1973 so I think production fibreglass boats switched to polyester shortly thereafter. It would be nice to know exactly when.

Typically anchoring in 6 to 10 metres, mud or sand, not much current.
