Made it to the west coast and back with out issues, thanks to you guys for offering help.

Thanks ... if we find ourselves 'stuck' on the east side of the lock we'll yell. Current voyage planning for our cross state run should get us where we need to go with out issues, but we'll certainly keep it in our back pocket.

I saw the neighborhood while scouting places for stops as during our Space Coast/Lake O/Tarpon Springs and back ... since there's not HOA, are property owners allowed to 'rent out dock space' for an overnight transient? Power would be great, no need for water.

The boats only look like they're damaged. The imagery you're looking at is an 'attempt' to portray the area in 3D which happens when you zoom in ... merely an artifact of an imperfect rendering.

Good jump off/jump in point for Key West We won't stay here when visiting KW proper, but it's a good stop if you're staying to avoid weather, or waiting for a slip in KW proper. The "distance" problem is really the 'marina to front gate' issue. If you have a bike, it's not a biggie, but...

Ditto Harbortown is our home marina, year round. As pointed out, you'll need a car to go anywhere/do anything. Available slips are limited. We'll often make the short trip down to Cocoa Village for a night on the town with out having to worry about Ubering home. We've stayed at Cocoa...

If you want posh, A&B or Galleon. We prefer Key West Bight Marina, best value IMO. We don't need the shore based amenities the higher priced places offer, just a safe, secure place in the middle of the action. There's a Duval Loop stop about 400ft from the piers, right next to a West Marine...

Same here, but that doesn't provide the letter of the freeways, or numbers of the slips. It's always great to know before entering the marina what slip you're going in (either from a phone call, or email) and then being able to look at the marina 'map' with fairways and slips clearly...

Would like to hear from any user that is currently running either Navionics, or Aqua Map (or even BOTH at the same time) on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (4GB ram; 64GB internal storage). The price on these tabs have dropped so low it’s probably time for me to replace my old tablets with new ones...
