Thanks everyone for your responses. Will be meeting with my service marina owner and bank manager tomorrow morning to become educated on wire transfers and how to maintain control of the boat sale until funds are confirmed received.

Pat; Unable to advise on diesel issues but the salt water line only extends to Poughkeepsie during drought conditions which we are not in. You have been in 100% fresh water since you traveled above Poughkeepsie. Leonard

Received quote from Chubb last night which was also good alternative at $469 to BoatUS/Geico's $806. Similar coverage but Chubb provided medical coverage at $10K per incident, BoatUS/Geico only had $1K. Still happy with our new policy at State Farm augmented by our umbrella policy. Leonard
