Marinas on the coast is fun and easy too visit with all of there service and all but I've come to love our inland lake, "Revsunds-sjön" more and more, nothing can beat the tranquility of our favorite beach, "fen-sanden" in the night.

Also not a grand voyage but we are heading home this afternoon after a couple of nights out, probably the last overnight weekend before we put "MATHILDA" on the dry for winter.

The daughter woke me up at 2 am and have now surfed around TF for about an hour or so, time to sleep.... -10 C and ~50 cm of snow here in northen Sweden so no cruising, "MATHILDA" is still in warm storage for a couple of months. Good night Zzzzzz...

Our -73 perkins 6.354 turbo, 145 HP has just over 3000 and starts the second you turn the key and sounds real good though a little "smokey". New rings and bearings by a po about -90 but from what ive heard there were no problem, just enough time to checkup the engine. Here in Sweden the season...

B30 is the name of these engines when mounted in a car. Marine version is called aq170, its a 3.0 litre straight six-cylinder with two carbs.

The only thing i found right now (now that i know what i was looking fore) was "POLYWOOD, boards of massive polyethylene" that is sold by ex SEASEA http://www.seasea.se/Article.aspx?ArticleNo=1546 but it looks like it only comes in 6 and 12 mm.

Hi. Im wondering what type of mtrl "starboard" is. Some kind of plastic i suppose but since im from Sweden i dont really now what it translates too. / Tomas

Did you build an anchor well from "scratch", i would be intressed in pics since our boat doesnt have one and i liked to have a windlass in front. ps: very nice job on your boat, spec the forward cabin, very modern looking.:thumb:

The turbo were replaced in mid 90:s with new hydraulic hoses for the lubrication but it can probably be a good idea to check it out.

This sounds great, we have a HT6.354 in our boat (turbo 145hp), because of the age (1973) i have been a bit nerveuos about it but with "only" 3050hrs and newer turbo and some of the exhaust replaced i now feel quite calm. ps: pardon my english, im from Sweden :o
