What is the rule on bonding stainless steel above the water fittings (i.e. Deck fills, drainage etc)

I thought not, but with all of the hub bub about bonding I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything!

On gas boats you want the filler necks and tanks bonded...not sure if it's suggested for diesel but it's to help eliminate sparking when filling the tank...you are supposed to ground the gas hose nozzel to the side of the fill before pumping.
I guess a holding tank pumpout could be an issue if you thought methane might be a problem.
