I’ve just purchased a 36’ Albin DC with the bunk on the port side in the aft cabin. I’m looking for ways to cause more ventilation, other than fans, in the bunk area especially the side against the hull. Any ideas?

Previous owner installed ventilators like these in overheads of both fwd and aft cabins.

On most boats the ventilation is from Aft to Fwd.

Viewed that way a fan might be the simplest.

Fantastic has 12V units and D cell units that are very quiet and efficient.

Does the cabin have an overhead escape hatch. If so there are several companies that make fans that fit into the hatch for ventilation.

Meridian - aside from fans - it is difficult to get decent airflow under to that side of the bed.
