I'm going to be in Tacoma next week, staying aboard. My bridge radio is one of those self-contained mics with controls built in. It needs a new coil-cord.

Can anyone recommend a shop?

You might do a little searching / researching.
Some makes / models the cord is plug & play... with plugs on both ends so not hard to change providing parts available.

Not the case in mine. On line search only revealed one shop, by the Ballard Bridge, but no one there, no response to phone message.

What shop? You could try Lunde's. They are about half way between the lock and the Ballard bridge on the Ballard side of the canal.


And if it's an Icom, they are based out of Kirkland and do repairs there.
