Hi Max,
When I bought my boat which was then located in LaConnor, I used Gerald Edwards of North Beach Marine Surveyors out of Seattle.
I was happy with his work, but I must say that my boat was in very good shape. He did find a few issues, which was what he was paid to do.

Since you aren’t buying the boat, I might call your insurance company and ask them for a list of surveyors that they accept.
