I have a Ford Lehman sp275t with a 70 amp alternator how much should I expect to pay for the pump ?

What pump? The coolant pump, raw water pump, oil pump, fuel pump, injector pump, fresh water pump, bilge pump? What does the alternator have to do with the pump?

I’m talking about the circulating pump the mechanic stated that I guess there’s two types of circulating pumps for an alternator with high output and one for low under 100 amps

Pump for alternator?
Thats a new one for me.

Guessing....
Sounds like the Lehman came with different fresh water engine pumps based on alternator fitted.

Yes, there is one where the one hose goes through the alternator belt and one that goes behind it I believe.

Think it's independent of alternator size, but not mounting as the through was typical and the other for some tractor setups.

As long as the alternator is on the standard marinized engine, the standard pump (though the belt) should work.
