Hi,

Anyone know where to get replacement hatch hardware for mid 80's Californian? Some of the screw clamps are frozen and I actually broke one off trying to free up.

Thanks, Doug

I bought mine from Fisheries Supply. Might be different from yours, though. Tough to tell without a picture +/or dimensions.

Hatch Hardware Pics

Here are some Pics. First one is the main hatch. I have a good shot at drilling out and re-taping the sheared off screw lock. Fwd hatch is more problematic. Any help would be appreciated

That's much different than my 1977 fiberglass hatch, so not the same parts.

Found a source

Well I solved my own problem but thought I would share for the benefit of others. The Hatches are made by Bowers and I found the hardware at Jamestown Distributors. there may be other suppliers but this is first one I ran across and was excited as I thought it was mission impossible to find 35 year old yacht hardware :). Not terribly expensive (< $37 ea) for full replacement parts so I bought 2 new dogs

That's good info! Great to hear. Thanks for the update.
