NASA bilge pump

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.

Perhaps a bit less spectacular is an always on last drop pump that does not require power ?

This is simply created by mounting a large car mechanical fuel pump on a board , welding a longer arm to the finger that is normally cam operated and attaching a lead weight.

Now every rock or movement of the boat ,will suck a tea spoon of bilge water to be discarded overboard.

The fuel pumps die in a couple of years , but the price is right!

Is that fresh water or sea water? It says "holding pond" so I assume fresh, but they are so close to the ocean... well... never hurts to ask.
