I got Sonas up to 11.5 knots today at 1500 RPM!

Wheeeeeeeeeeee!

(It is reported that this cut produces up to 10 knot currents at Springs!)

I’ve been looking at that cut. So it’s not necessary to do the cut at slack tide I take it? Is it wide and deep enough that 11.5 knots wasn’t scary?

I guess you didn’t meet any oncoming traffic like you would at slack tide. [emoji41]

It isn't deep in parts and it isn't wide in parts!

It floods on to the bank (south) and ebbs off the bank (north). You need to time it for slack if you can get a good tide forecast, if not make sure you are with the current.

BTW just left Spanish Wells via the Ridley route between the reefs. More later.
