Hi all,

We live in Western Australia and have our house on the market to buy a nice live aboard cruiser/trawler and have stumbled over a* Fadara 55 aft cabin but we cannot find any links or information on the makers

Guys I live over in Mooloolaba and work up on the NW shelf as a Chief Engineer for Mermaid Marine ( a Freo Co.) Been around the water front and playing with boats for as many years as I can remember, don't know any thing of these boats and must admit have never seen one is Aus before.
There are a lot of well known and reputable boats around the country and it depends on what your budget and uses are as to what would be the best buy.

Anywhere one can view details of this vessel.
What are you guys looking for, steel, FG, Al , timber, raised pilot house or bridge deck, displacement or semi displacement.
Being in WA one would think you are going to cruise north to the Kimberlies and beyond so a well found vessel would be a prerequisite.

OK just had a quick look at it on the net.

Semi displacement, not a lot of fuel for a twin engine boat and as it says , good for around Roto and cruising in the river.

Not a lot can be seen from the brokers photos, biscuit truck engines , must admit they are not my favourites.just my opinion.

Thanks ,
Portuguese i have seen these sites but give no information on any of there boats.
Benn,
Thanks too i was concerned about this boat as you sais very small fuel for twin motors semi displacement also as you said never heard of these boats i agree The reason i put the question her was for that reason:)
So looks like we will look at getting a boat from overseas that has a good reputation and known quality of build,etc...

Cheers

Peter, Ronie B,
have a quick check on Anchorline brokerage page.
Amity a timber bridge deck cruiser is for sale in WA.
One beautiful boat with plenty of room and a nice price.
I inspected this boat in Bundaberg a few years ago just before it had its last makeover.
Well worth a look.

Hi Benn,
We have seen that boat too but both of us have spinal arthritus so much prefer a good motor cruiser/trawler.
