So last week we got our stern painter wrapped around the prop pulling away from the dinghy dock.
Two days later it broke free overnight. Got it back OK.
This morning, went to shore, started raising the trim as we got into shallow water, nothing. Worked fine last thing last night.
The trim switch on the motor works fine so we are good for now, just not as handy.
I really don't want to take the whole remote apart to look at the switch, or start pulling waterproof fuse holders apart under the cowling, as I don't want to risk causing a bigger issue as we are out here through end of May and we have a workaround now, though not as convenient.
I might try getting some WD 40 in behind the switch just to see if the contacts are stuck with dried salty water.
Hopefully that's the the third thing out of the way?
