Nothing you can't easily get rid of. Not like he painted the boat pink.

Ted

Great collection of shade and covers, 30 mins to remove and your off.

I can see the point of the aft structure to give shade to the sun deck area....but the forward canvas seems odd as there is no wood there. Interior shades would have done the job better, been more convenient, and not looked so bad.

Greetings,
Mr. B. As Mr. CC says, 30 minutes and you're off. Shade is a big PLUS down here in FL although I would have gone with white canvas at the bow. Nicely done IMO.

This is rain the set up for our northern boat. Ugly? Sure but we're totally dry and we're able to keep the hatch in the v-berth open for a nice airy sleep in the worst rain.

Its a form vs function debate IMO. For folks that use a boat a lot, and are mostly on the inside looking out, then functions wins. Whatever those on the outside looking in (or at) might feel or think does not matter so much. Keeping rain and sun off can also be a big deal for ease of maintenance as well as enjoyment.

We use ours almost every weekend in the summer. Our v-berth is not insulated.
