Does anyone know how to prevent this inverter from temporally going into invert mode when connecting to shore power? I believe this is whats causing my boat to trip the shore Ground Fault Device. I was thinking of temporally Disabling the Neutral-to-Ground Connection via a switch until unit goes in to shore power mode. The unit has a butt connector for this. I would be unprotected for a few second. This is documented on page 41 in the owners manual.

Thanks

Pretty simple fix. The new GFCI dock wiring can create a few new issues.

Do you have an inverter bypass switch? If yes, use it. If no, install one. With this switch you can then figure out what breakers to turn off before plugging into shore power to avoid the trips. Worked for me anyway.
