table lift shock

* Any one had any or need to replace the gas shock lift for a table? By the time i got mine apart the ball bearings has torn up the lable on the shock.Table has no tag on it eather.All the shocks i find online are overseas$$$$$$$$$$$$$
 
Maybe a picture would help others ID the part.
 
Try some RV sites. I often see gas lift cylinders in the larger places.

Also try
-GAS SPRINGS
-GAS STRUTS

and a bunch of them will come up.

I think I've seen them in the McMaster Carr cataloque also.
 
WE use seat lift mechanisms under tables.

Nice and strong and many will allow the table to be rotated , some will allow the table to be repositioned , slid a few inches.

Fat folks or an obstructed isle can benefit from this.

We have used 2 of the under seat mechanisms end to end to move a table even further.
