Anyone ever use the Nantucket Sounder? I was going thru my equipment recently and remembered I had this thing. Coming down the Chesapeake a few years back my Raymarine transducer died and this old time device showed me the depth into a few nice anchorages. I know you can use any weight and line but this is classy and good to have onboard. Also take bottom samples if needed. Just sharing....Cheers
