Hello all,

I'm not sure whether it is of any interest to anyone, but we have started a blog about our experience of buying, refitting and living on Nordhavn 7202 MV Alchemy (previously Shear Madness). The blog address is http://mvalchemy.com

We also have a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/adventuresofalchemy/

If anybody has any questions about Nordhavns in general or the N72/N76 range in particular, I'd be happy to share whatever information I've picked up so far.

Neat, I have book marked it.

One suggestion though. I see you are using WordPress. Have you looked at some of the non-blog themes, which are more a web site design? The reason I ask is that chronologically single stream blogs have a major downside when it comes to navigating/finding particular posts or topics of interest, especially with year's worth of posts. Plus you may want to add videos and other stories outside of the blog stream.

Have a look at ours to see what I mean. By using a theme with top and side menus, and with areas for recent posts, etc. it can become very dynamic.

Just a thought! Good luck and see you on the water! We are leaving for the Exumas early March if you will be out there this year!

Glad to see that the new owners of Sheer Madness has a crew that wants to carry on the experience.
Will follow your adventures!

Cheers, John & Tracey

I met Bradley and Kathy when they were on the hill at Jarrett Bay some years back. Touring Shear Madness was what convinced me to buy a pilot house trawler, albeit a much smaller one. Keep us posted with lots of photos/ videos. Good luck and enjoy!
