We just purchased a 1984 Eagle Pilothouse No Flybridge Serial #32002.
I would like to ask other owners about their Eagle's. She seems to have had good care over the years and reasonably updated. Is there a group or club of Eagle owners? One thing I find interesting is the water capacity. She has two 75 gallon tanks port and starboard and a 100 gallon tank under the cockpit. All are stainless. The 100 gallon tank has been discontinued for what ever reason. Thanks in advance, Jay.

My brother n law has one. I was thinking the tank under his cockpit sole was a fuel tank . I'll ask him next time I see him. Oh yeah that's a nice looking Eagle trawler you have.

Thanks for the reply. Yours looks to be a beauty also. The nipples for the 100 gallon tank are inches away from the other water tanks. After more input, they might get plumbed back in as water is a tough find in this are. Jay

Hi Jay,
Good to see another Eagle owner out there! We have a 1986 Eagle 32. We bought it three years ago and have been putting a lot of work into it. There was a fair amount of water damage to the interior wood, among other things. We've posted a few photos in an album on our profile, if you're interested. Would love to see photos of yours.

We have one water tank (sort of divided into chambers but all connected) under the forward berth, and it's fiberglass. Holds 100-125 gallons depending on which spec sheet I look at.

Hi Guys,
From what I understand ours was the 2nd one made. Holding tank and batteries are under our berth. We are redoing the interior as it was original and tired. We hold 150 gallons of diesel and same for water. There is a 100 tank under the cockpit disconnected. Same the 4 previous owners had their own ideas on wiring and it a project. The last owner had it one year to the day and put 10k into it and used it 11 hours. We will be going over every system in the spring.
We did discover we have a wet keel. There is a pump in the cockpit hatch that can fill or take water from the keel. We have probably close to 50 pictures that might help your redo. If you wish, PM me with an email address and I can send them to you.
Best Regards, Jay

Hi Jay,

Just had a chance to look at your photos. Wow, your boat is in great condition! Much better than ours was. A couple of questions. Where is your water tank (ours in built into the boat structure, under the berth)? Where is your generator? Is anything stored in the structure on the flybridge?

Here are links to our photos, in chronological order. Our boat was in pretty bad shape, and Andrew is a yacht designer, so we've been modernizing it in ways that might not be agreeable to trawler purists.

Great boats. Sold one of our member's boat two years ago to a very, very happy couple in SC.

Links don't work.

Daddyo, I think we own the Eagle you sold. Previous owners kept it a year, put 11 hours on it and relisted it. The Eagle now is getting a much needed facelift and upgrades. THX. Jay
