I am wondering if the optional shower which can be installed in the head is worthwhile and if it presents any problems with water getting into the cabinets or main cabin?
I love the boat as is but the wife prefers the indoor shower features.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Not familiar with the Pilot 30, but our Pilot 34 had a "wet head" and even though i would prefer a separate enclosed shower, ours worked fine. You have to remove all towels and put away the TP or make sure that the holder protects it. We had a nice teak grate on our floor which let the water drain away into the floor drain and quickly dried.

Does your Pilot 30 have a floor drain in the head compartment? That will be essential. Mine drained to a Jabsco (or similar) sump in the engine room where an internal bilge pump pumped it out.
