1989 Grand Banks 42 Classic
Hi - I am considering purchasing a 1989 42 Classic. It has 375 HP Cats and cruises at 18 Knots. I was wondering how these narrow beam ( before 1991 wide beam ) boats handle in choppy conditions? It has no stabilizers. Thanks

We have a GB the same exact year and engines and ours does fine.

Everyone that rides in ours when we have less than favorable conditions (ocean, sound, river) comments on the way it handles the conditions.

Dear Obx - What speed do go at 2400 RPM & 2800 RPM?

18K?? Hydrofoils? Be interested in the fuel burn at that clip.

Owners manual

I have a 42’ 1978 GB Classic. It did not come with an owners manual. Can someone kindly provide some direction?

Rain Dog,
I cannot access the GB site. Can you offer some asssitance?
Thanks

Try opening this file. It's the manual for my 1986-42 Classic, hull #966. It should help.
