• Trawler Forum Classified Posting Guidelines
    • We expect ads placed to be related to the topic of this forum.
    • Ads that are inactive for 180 days or longer may be moved to the Classified Archive and locked. Ads may be relisted if the item is still current. Alternatively, owners may contact a Moderator to reinstate an archived ad.
    • The Classified section is for advertising, members are asked to refrain from posting discussions to a Classified Ad. Please start a discussion thread or PM the owner for discussions.
    • Do not hijack another member's ad by posting unsolicited commentary. Example: if a member has posted an ad offering an anchor for sale, don't add a post to his thread stating that you have an anchor you'd like to get rid of also. Posts deemed as unsolicited commentary may be removed.
    • For your own security, do NOT include your e-mail or phone number in your ad. Instead request that interested parties contact you via PM (private message) to provide owners contact info.
    • Brokers, Dealers, or those with a commercial interest in a sale are prohibited from posting in Classifieds.
    • Only Trawler Forum Commercial Members may post ads in the Commercial section. You must be a designated Commercial Member to start threads in this section of the forum. (Contact a moderator if you have questions about this)
    • Don't post links to commercial sites where you are also offering the boat, such as eBay, Craigslist or Yachtworld, etc. unless it contains a more in-depth description, additional information or pictures.
    • Place only one ad per item (you may repost only when your ad has expired and been removed).
    For Sale ads MUST include:
    • Asking price
    • Location
    • A Basic Description
    • Clear statement whether you are the owner or non-owner (posting for friend, relative, or acquaintance)
    • Don't forget to select: FOR SALE, WANTED or FREE in the Title block.
All ads should also include ALL the following:
    • Pertinent maintenance and condition information
    • Exterior picture or pictures
    • Interior picture or pictures (boats)
For maximum impact & exposure, it is suggested the Ad Title include: Year, Manufacturer, Model, Length, Price, and Location or at the very top of the ad body. When your item has sold or the ad is no longer relevant: Please post a Reply to the ad that the item is SOLD or click "Report Post" on post 1 of the thread to ask a moderator to archive the ad. Ads may be moved or removed by our staff at any time for any reason. All ads must comply with site rules. Thanks for your cooperation.
  • Avoid Scams.

Our classifieds are free and anyone registered here is welcome to post an ad.
Be aware that there are unscrupulous folks out there. Avoid any interaction that seems odd to you or feels wrong. Inquiries from unknown buyers, buyers agents and other non-traditional approaches should be treated with extreme caution.

Beware of unsolicited contacts offering to put you in touch with someone else who is buying or selling via e-mail or text.

Do not post your e-mail address or phone number in a classifieds ad.

Hints that you may be dealing with a Scammer:
    • Seller or Buyer approaches you via a direct email or PM and then steers you to an off-site communication method (text or email).
    • No posts or very few forum posts.
    • Recent forum membership
    • Insists on conducting negotiations via email or text rather than PM
    • Requires payment via Bank Transfer, BitCoin/CryptoCurrency, WesternUnion or other unsecured method.
    • Buyer or Seller suggests Paypal "Friends and Family" payment. Paypal is a good way to arrange payment but an invoice for goods and services should be used rather than "Friends and Family". "Friends and Family" avoids fees BUT there is no recourse if the transaction runs aground. Friends and Family is for gifts only. There is no protection for Friends and Family transactions, so never ever use it to buy something.
    • Declines to allow viewing the item before proceeding with the transaction.

50' Slip in Poulsbo WA – 12 nm from Seattle – Summer Rental or Swap

I'm out cruising through late September and my marina manger has agreed to let me rent out my slip. And I tell ya, I have the BEST slip in the marina.

My 50’ slip is chock-full-o-sun, access is easy and my view of Liberty Bay and the setting sun is simply wonderful!
See the pic below with yellow arrow pointing to my slip.

Here are the specs:

Liberty Bay Marina (private marina)
Poulsbo WA

Enter this address to map it:
17791 Fjord DR NE Poulsbo WA 98370

Liberty Bay Marina is NOT the public Port of Poulsbo. LBM is a private marina located a pleasant 20 min walk from historic downtown Poulsbo. As you enter Liberty Bay, it is the 1st marina on the right, followed by the Poulsbo Yacht Club marina and then the Port of Poulsbo.

Pics of the marina can be found here:

SLIP SPECS

• Max length 50' overall - including swimstep & dinghy hanging off the back
• 30 amp power included
• Water at the slip included
• Free weekly pump-out available through Terry & Sons at www.pumpout.me. Or, use the free pump-out station or wheeled/mobile pump-out.
• Marina access is restricted to slip owners & guests. The gate is locked and accessed using a code.

LBM has onsite laundry for $2 per load ($1.25 to wash. $0.75 to dry)
You supply your own detergent. None for sale. Laundry room is available only to marina guests.

Marina bathrooms and showers have been recently remodeled & are quite nice.
Showers are 50 cents for 3.5 mins. Bathrooms are accessed using marina code.

Free marina WiFi. My slip is near the outer border but I still get service, though it can slow down during peak use.
I have good Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T cell reception and usually hotspot for internet service.

Management is onsite Mon, Tue, Thur & Friday.

This is a safe & friendly place to be.

Proximity to Seattle
Seattle’s downtown Bell Harbor Marina = 15 nm
North Seattle/Ballard's Shilshole marina = 12 nm

If you prefer to leave your boat in PBO, public transportation to Seattle is easy to use. I don't own a car so bike, use public transportation and/or taxis all the time.

The main bus stop is a 15 min walk from my slip. Take the bus to Bainbridge and explore downtown Winslow, or catch the ferry to Seattle. The Bainbridge ferry drops you in the heart of downtown Seattle - about a 12 min walk south of Pike Place Market and 15 mins north of the Chinatown/International District.

The Poulsbo waterfront is cute as heck with a smattering of restaurants & pubs, artsy stuff and famous Sluy's Bakery. The downtown Marina Market grocery store is much bigger that it appears from the outside and has a nice selection of fresh foods, canned goods, international products and liquor.

Kayaking, SUP and sailing in the bay are really sweet!! I often kayak down to The Loft or the Brass Kraken for lunch or Happy Hour.

Also – fuel prices at the Port of Poulsbo and nearby Brownsville are good, the fuel is reliably clean and the PBO dock is easy to access.

Safeway and my fave organic grocer, Central Market, are approx. 1.25 and 1.75 miles away. Both are full service grocers.

RENTAL RATE:
Rent by the week for a mere $225 all inclusive. (That’s just $32.15/day folks)
Reduced rate for longer term rental.

FINE PRINT:
This is a very nice marina and your boat must look decent. It doesn't have to be fancy, it just can’t be a piece of drek.
And please, no loud, obnoxious, all-night-long party animals. Can you can hang with friends and enjoy yourself? Of course! Just be reasonable. That’s all I ask.

SWAP:
Willing to trade for slip access in Gulf Islands, Sunshine Coast, Campbell River or…???

Thanks for your interest and feel free to pass this opportunity along to friends.,
Mary

MORE INFO

I've had some people ask about the following and thought I'd share with all:

My boat is 51' overall, so there's a little leeway in LOA.

My beam is 14' and there's a good distance between me and the neighboring boat. I think up to a 16' beam would be reasonable.

My neighbor is not a liveaboard. In an effort to provide some privacy, management does not place liveaboards alongside one another. My end of C Dock is delightfully quiet and peaceful. :)

Thanks for the inquiries!

Such a deal in a great spot! I imagine someone will take you up on it...
