Can Dropbox be used with the IMG tags to upload images?

I just spent half an hour writing a post, and used the Image tags to link to a number of files on my Dropbox account.

Here's an example:



When I posted, those lines including the links did not show.

What is the best way to upload images here, please?

As you have not met the minimum number of required posts (10), your posts require approval by a mod if they contain either links or pictures. It has been approved.

I'm sure this in on here many times....but enough people have trouble with it, making it easier to find might prove useful.

To upload pictures:

1. click on "Go Advanced"

2. Type your text that you want to accompany the pictures

3. Click on the paperclip icon

4. click on "choose file"

5. click "upload"

6. scroll down

7. click "close this window"

8. Click "submit reply"

If you took the pictures with an iPhone and they are upside down, you have to pray to the ghost of Steve Jobs and break an original Windows 98 CD with your iPhone....and even then it might not work. But at least you can post them now.

The deeper problem was that I had not reached the magic tenth post (the one that, apparently, allows a new user to post images).
