It’s difficult reading the marks on my dipstick when checking the oil level due to location. Using starboard material I cut a piece that was as long as the level showing on the stick to the tip of the stick. Now I just lay the stick on the starboard and I can easily read the level. Since my port and starboard engines have their dipsticks in different locations, I’ve made two. I’ll drill a hole and hang it next to the dipstick.
