Is the Mississippi the only route to take to*cruise *a 56 ft power boat to the gulf from Louisville Kentucky? I've never cruised those waters before and*I would appreciate any help that you could give me.

*The Mississippi River is definitely not the only route, and it is definitely not the preferred route to the Gulf.* Take a Left at the Tennessee River to the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway.* It will take you to Mobile, AL.* From there go East or West on the Gulf Coast.cpw5 wrote:

There are hundreds or thousands of boats that have taken that route as part of the Great Loop trip. Many have written extensive blogs on their travels. Chuck
