Wireless remote turned up a few days ago, today is the day.

Maxwell solenoid is down two levels from the portugese bridge where i intend to use it so i have my doubts if it will shoot through that much boat.
Plus, it was installed by a midget - I can if I must bend myself into the locker, sweat and swear and get it of the bulkhead to work on but what about putting it in the wheelhouse?

I have an up down toggle switch and power there plus an abundance of space
The remote black box requires up down and power

Pic is same same but different to what I got.

should work with the toggle switch...

just get separate circuit protected power and piggy back to output of toggle switch.

wire sizes important, but if helm toggle goes to a high amperage solenoid , probanly OK.

Thanks
Power i planned on using would be the same one the windlass circuit is connected to.
Not the main power switch thats near the solenoid, this is the power circuit on the switchpanel

All done.
Much easier than doing it at the solenoid.
