I just am gob-stopped that no one really cares about his achievements; I gather the name is so old it can't be used to generate clicks, so journalism editors today discount playing it up. So sad.
My wife said it was on the front page of the New York Times. But I'll confess, I had no idea who he was because I just don't follow sports at all.
