Dry Tortugas

We are considering a trip from Tampa Bay to the DT. Sailed it before but never taken a trawler there. We were planning on spending time around the 10,000 Islands and then hopping to the DTs at the end of April, beginning of May. We would appreciate any feedback.

It's a great itinerary, we're envious and wish we were doing it again right now, but make sure you have reviewed the entire District 7 LNM and if possible have your charts updated to reflect the issues. Lot of ATONs missing, damaged or discontinued due to the hurricane and other reasons. You've been to Fort Jefferson before so I take it you are aware of the various rules there. Might not hurt to give the Park Service a call for both there and 10,000 Islands.

I would hop down to Key West and then head over to the Dry Tortugas.
