Davis Vantage Pro weather station

I have the wireless unit, and the upper station is only transmitting sporadically. I called Davis and they said it sounds like a circuit board problem, but they don't have parts for that any longer. Anyone have any ideas about spares or repair people who might be able to fix it? I really don't want to have to plunk down 1/2 boat unit for a new one.

I had the same problem last year. Turns out the battery in the upper unit was going bad and a replacement corrected the problem.

Yea, that was my first step. This time that didn't fix it.

is your weather station Vantage Pro or Vantage Pro2?
Asking as I might have a replacement*wireless card for VP2 lying around.

Mine's the Vantage Pro. They have parts for the II models, just not mine any longer.
