Most everyone is familiar with the American Great Loop Cruisers' Assoc.* They have a rendeveuz and annual meeting at Joe Wheeler State Park, AL each year.* Many of them get there early and cruise on up the Mighty Tennessee to Chattanooga.* It is about 200 miles one way, but worth the trip.* It's kinda like the geese returning to the Chesapeake.* They do it about the same time each year.

Here is a picture made today of the Chattanooga Waterfront with boats lined up on the face dock.

Chattanooga has a great fine dining restaurant named after its address... 212 Market. Easy walk from the docks.

*Doc, I live in the next block up the hill behind 212 Market Restaurant.* You are right.* It is a fine place.* I just walk around the corner to it.* It's great living one block off the waterfront.* Let me know the next timeyou com this way.

Is there a particular reason you didn't dock with your bow into the current?

"Is there a particular reason you didn't dock with your bow into the current?"...says Don

"Yes and No" says Doc.

Power cord inlet is on port side as is transom door. But I don't recall the current (mid summer) to be that strong.

You live in a nice part of town. We plan to go back to Chattanooga in our next boat..whatever and whenever that might be. Hurricane season in SW Florida will be over in a month or so and I will start looking.
