Yes we need to know application.
DC or AC? Voltage? What medium? Duty cycle? Water valves are very common you can buy on internet, just do a search you'll get hits. If propane, I would buy one made for that even though it may be pricey.
Industrial supply outfits like McMaster-Carr, list valves.
I used to work as an engineer in a place that manufactured solenoid valves, and most were application specific.
Stay away from teflon tape if you can a good share of returns for leaks were because of bad teflon tape application.
