I am looking at Raymarine RV-2xx transducers that come in three types, 0 degree (flat), 12 degree and 20 degree - to account for deadrise. the RV212 is for 5-15 of deadrise, RV220 for 15-25 of deadrise - any idea what would be appropriate for Grand Banks 36 Classic - placement is about 12 ft back from bow.

The angle would depend how far off centre you are placing it as well.

Can you not measure the angle from where you plan to install it on the inside of the hull prior to slipping the boat?

You can get an free angle meter app for any smartphone. That way you would be sure it is the angle for where the transducer will be located.

You can also mount internally as well, look into that, had install a few like this with good luck.
