Hello everyone...

I am from Northern California ,el dorado hills and keep my boat a 46’ Post sportfisher in Sausalito ,I just purchased another boat , a 1980 lien hwa 60’ flush deck trawler up in Seattle to refit and bring down to Sausalito as my new boat...it should be an interesting project ,looking forward to getting input from everyone during the refit process

What powers the Lien Hwa?

How long will the work you're having done here take and are you then heading south or are going to cruise it up here first. It would be a shame to get it in shape for ocean trip to California and not go up the inside passage first. Just saying... And it is a beauty!

I am hopping to get a bunch of work done up in Seattle ,paint,new underwater exhaust ,new galley cabinets ,hard top,install all the furniture on the flybridge ,I can’t get an insurance binder to take it down the coast until spring , so I am hopping the yard can get all the bid stuff finished up by spring and I can cruise up in Seattle for a couple of months, and fix the 250 small projects while cruising and relaxing on the boat over the next twelve 12 months I really don’t have a set time on when I am bring it back down to California

Yes it's difficult to leave San Francisco bay/delta/river/slough waters.
