Looking for Vintage Main Electric Panel

Hi guys,

can you please point me to manufacturers of panels I can replace mine with.

My main electric panel needs overhaul, some switches broken but there are no spares anymore so I might just as well replace the whole thing.

Are there beautiful, rather vintage style panels available anywhere, preferably in Europe?

Thanks much, we still need to check globally but our sources say, the switches are out of production for decades.

Other switches wont fit? New panels are not cheap, pretty though.

The ones my ship yard has in store won't fit. Still shopping around.
But the more I search the more excited I become with replacing the whole panel.

Won't go modern though, looking for something with a retro style, more 'mechanic' than electro if you know what I mean.

I made up a new panel for a uniflite that had been upgraded from 120v to 240v and had the uniflite logo engraved in it. Nice white panel with black lettering.

I did a panel for the airplane as well so I could add a Garmin to it.

IF your boat is US made the original switches are probably Cole Hersey.

Cole Hersey still makes the finest marine grade gear , their catalog is on line.

The contact points are silver and the amp ratings are realistic.

The Chrome plating is excellent.

Very different from NAPA auto or hobby shop gear.

Thanks, it's a Taiwan make, 1978. But hey, the Cole Hersee site links to a site (littlefuse.de) in German, I might be in luck with European service.

Vetus have some nice analog instruments, maybe not so "vintage" but at least in that direction.

IF you wish to keep the installed instruments , the gauges can easily be be rebuilt.

In the USA, Hemmings Motor News lists many advertisers for instrument repair .

"I might be in luck with European service."

Or you could simply have someone in the US send them over.
