My Garmin has lost it's GPS signal. I have tried rebooting to no avail. Any ideas ? Thank You!

Antenna connection clean on back of unit? Have you lost all power or just the GPS signal? If you have lost all power (black screen) ck the cable at the rear of the unit. The cable (Female) tends to corrode. Clean all the holes with an appropriate sized drill bit and WD 40.
Good luck.

Does it have an internal antenna? (I believe it does)

This unit has been obsolete for over ten years and Garmin will no longer repair it or supply parts for it. I don't believe you can get updated charts either.

You and your 182 have had a good run, but it's time to bite the bullet and buy a current model GPS. You will be surprised at the improvements in operation, speed and display clarity over the last fifteen years or so.

Go down to your favorite marine electronics dealer and ask someone to show you the latest models.

Find a dock neighbor and try it out on their antenna. There are thousands of old Garmins out there that you can plug into.
A replacement antenna can be found on eBay pretty cheap.
