Does anyone know of a place to charter a half or full day trip with Captain in a trawler-type boat in one of New Bern, Morehead, or Beaufort NC ?

I know there are a good number of sport fishing charters, but really interested in more of a trawler or motor yacht type charter.

I am planning on getting this type of boat in the somewhat near future and just looking to get some time in cruising for a day.

Contact Sonny Conover at Beaufort Yacht Sales- (252)728-3155. He used to charter out a Mariner, but no longer. But I bet he would know who if anyone would. Sonny is a character.

There are no pleasure boat/trawler charters down here at all that I have seen, heard of, or found after a Google search. Sonny had his rig for a while but finally sold the boat. If you find one, let me know.

Yeah I have done a bunch of looking but found nothing. I may give Sonny a call and see if he knows of anything.
