I have a circa 1987 unit that is leaking coolant, 90% sure its the condenser/heat exchanger - does anyone have a source for these? I have googled as much as I can. Its a 15K btu unit. If I can find the condenser I can get any aircon tech to patch it in and refill otherwise faced with whole new unit..

Actually 30 years. It is not worth fixing. You're past the stage of constantly having new failures.

I have 2 30 year old Marine Airrr units and have lived aboard for 7 years and both work just fine. I think the quality of the build was much better 30 years ago than now days. Fixing a well built older unit may be cost effective over buying a new one.

Where are you located?

Gas may be a problem obtaining. Buy a new Webasto 16,000 and have cold air blowing. We have a 10 and a 16 and they have been great.
