Hey someone told me that rt 2 was closed was closed and I had to go to rt 1. Please if someone knows I'm almost there.
 
I am not aware of route 1 vs route 2. I can say the Dismal Swamp is closed to all traffic until later this summer. If you are northbound, when you cross the Albemarle Sound, you must go the Virginia Cut / Coinjock / Great Bridge route.

AGLCA has been posting updates concerning the Dismal Swamp.
