MARATHON (CBSMiami) – The Overseas Highway in the Florida Keys has been shut down in both directions in Marathon as firefighters try to get a fire a marina under control.
The marina is at Mile Marker 47.5.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office posted on Twitter that the fire has been burning since 2:30 a.m.
No word on what started the fire.

Appears it may or may not be a boat fire but may be a large house fire.

Fire out, roads reopened. At least three boats involved and lots of lobster traps.

Diesel and fibreglass resin boats will burn fiercely hot right down to the waterline, then sink.
